I created a Vision Board when I left management consulting and started my coaching company, about 15 years ago. I put a lot of time and energy into setting intentions and articulating my dreams, in every area of my life. Then I put the board in a drawer and mostly forgot about it. As I was packing up my house in Toronto recently, I found the vision board folded up in a file. To my amazement, I have realized every piece on the board (except for a trip to Africa, which will happen one day, for sure!). This stuff really works!
Living in Chamonix, France, recently was the culmination of several other dreams coming true - the dream of living in France one day, of learning to ski in powder on a mountain, and of taking our kids on epic ski trips. While there have been some bumps in the road on the journey, I have been reflecting on what the key steps are to turning dreams into reality.
